My Every Day Technology

In the course of a normal day I use lots of technology in that single day. I use computers, cell phones, TVs, an assortment of video game mediums, and IPod, and a radio. Some of them are even used for multiple uses. Throughout a single day, these technology factors can be found everywhere, in just the menial day to day work.
My computer is probably my most used piece of technology. I use it every single day. It’s a laptop, not a desk top, so I can bring it with me anywhere in the house, since we have a wireless internet router. I use my computer, mainly for entertainment, video games, funny videos, and guitar stuff too. My cell phone, I carry with me all the time. I don’t really use a landline anymore. The only time I get a call on the house phone is from work. I also use my phone as a camera, sometimes, since it has one built into it. My TV is likely tied with my computer for the title of most used technology in a given day. I have cable TV, but in the living room I have DirecTV as well. I also use my IPod all the time. It holds all my favorite music, so if I’m walking home from school, doing work around the house, I always have it plugged in, blasting my favorite tunes. I have a PS2, which is a little out dated but regardless, it serves its purpose. Along with that, I have both a PSP and a Nintendo DS which I play, often, except for my DS, which my girlfriend has borrowed and has yet to return. The other tech I use frequently during the day is the register at Stop & Shop. It’s basically a computer which serves a different purpose to me. Finally the other daily used piece of tech would be the radio. My day consists of either terrestrial radio, or satellite radio, or both, depending on who I’m with or what I’m doing during the day.
That is basically my day, when it comes to technology. From work to play, technology plays a huge part in my every day doings. It plays a major part for society as a whole too. Everyone has their own purposes for using technology. And everyone uses it in the ways that benefit them the most. untitled.JPG
